Hi my name is Kaylee! I have a brand called “Kaylee World!” My merchandise consists of pieces made with my drawings. I am currently a student at Allan Hancock College and I am majoring in Art Education. I enjoy working with a range of media, like graphite, pen, pastel, ink, gouache and acrylic paint. I am always open for commissions! This includes printing on bags, shirts, hoodies, stickers, prints and keychains.
*For the months of July and August 2019 I will have an exhibit at the Santa Maria Airport. I will be selling my original pieces.
Garden Delightfuls unique charming garden flowers made from re-purposed crystal, porcelain plates and other materials. Susan Prow loves looking for treasures to create these unique Garden Delightfuls that make your garden or flower pot sparkle.
I work full time at UC Santa Barbara helping students find their niche on campus through curricular involvement, campus organizations, fraternities & sororities, and leadership. Part-time I am a consultant for non-profits in the county. And I make jewelry! This started as a hobby and de-stressor. My kind of therapy!
My name is Cindy McGarvey and I have been doing some kind of crafting most of my life, from ceramics, to sewing and crocheting. I am constantly learning new and exciting styles and techniques to make wonderful new things. My daughter Jessica Cretcher got me started doing craft events about 7 years ago. Through her I met Ashlee McCaffrey. I really enjoy interacting with the customers as well as the other vendors which made working at Festive Nesting a perfect fit for me.
I currently make many sewed items from aprons, pet items and stuffed animals as well as crochet hanging towels for the kitchen. But I am always finding new and interesting things to make.
Fat Blankey was what my kids called them when they were little. I specialize in cloth diapers and burp clothes in blues, pinks and gender neutral greens. My items are made with love for all the babies out there who are deserving of a homemade gift.
I love living on the central coast! I have been sewing and crocheting for years! I make all kinds of items. I am a proud fabric hoarder. 😊 I truly enjoy being a crafter and selling my items.
My name is C. J. Davis, I’m retired! I was a former Non-profit Director, Designer at Michaels and Craft Instructor. I welcome custom orders!
I retired from being a school teacher at Orcutt Jr. High. I make shirts aprons, denim bags, kids clothes, decorative jackets and paintings.
I have been sewing since 7th grade and quilting for about 20 years. I sew quilts, baby car seat covers, receiving blankets and pillowcases. I also crochet cuddle blankets. Sewing and quilting are my passion. I can make custom items too!
I’ve been a crafter for many years. I started with jewelry and photography. Now I make a little of everything from crocheted items, sewing, small wood work projects and my own body products.
I make jewelry, rosary’s, bracelets, earrings, floral arraignments, lanyards, bows, etc. I love making lots of stuff it helps me relax and I enjoy it a lot.
I’ve been a knitter for 20 years and worked in a knit shop part-time in Arizona before moving back to Santa Maria. Before retirement I worked as a graphic designer in a printing company. I recently took up beading and making bead crochet necklaces along with earrings and beaded bracelets. My specialty is knitted fingerless gloves and baby socks. Custom orders are welcome!
I make chain mail jewelry and accessories one ring at a time! What was once a hobby for me has now become a craft I am passionate about. I love making nerdy themed items and welcome commissions! 😊<3
I love creating one-of-a-kind wire wrapped jewelry or wire sculpting jewelry. This is something I started about 15 years ago and still love it! I have been involved with the Local Orcutt Mineral Society which makes me a “Rock” Hound. I also polish stones when I have the opportunity. I also do custom orders, so if you have a stone, Horse’s Tooth or whatever I would love to create something special for you! Pendants and earrings are what I do mostly but will try other items as well.
I have enjoyed making pottery in many forms since I first took a class at the local Community College. I currently specialize in functional pottery because I love seeing my creations in everyday use. If you don’t see exactly what you want, I am willing to take special orders, though they generally take significantly longer to fulfill. I encourage you to look over my work on display at Festive Nesting and contact me with any questions. “Try on” a coffee mug or two and find the best fit for your hand. They are all handmade right here in Orcutt!
Growing up I did crafts in some shape or form, I guess that’s what you get when you are the granddaughter of an art instructor and the daughter of a crafty mother. One year I decided that I was making everyone’s Christmas gift, 10 aprons later I had friends and co-workers asking for their own custom apron! About a year later I decided I wanted to learn to make jams and jelly. My friend and I had a jamming day and I loved it! After about a year of practice and experimenting with different recipes I applied for my Cottage Food Permit and started selling it at local craft fairs. I still experiment with different crafting technics during my free time, but I think I have found my niche in jamming, sewing and crocheting. I welcome custom orders!
Ashlee McCaffrey is the founder of Festive Nesting. She has been making a variety of items for years, including soap, lotion, artwork, photo albums and more.
